Jay Luvuno
Bio
Jay Luvuno is a South African singer and songwriter.
His music ranges from Urban to tribal sounds, mixing genres such as Afro-souse, Afrobeat , Soul and R&B. Since surviving a dark stage in his life when he attempted suicide at the age of 12, he decided to deal with depression the best way he knew how and that was writing musical lyrics.
Jay Luvuno does not formulate beats but he is rather the creative force that drives his production by introducing melodies and arrangements. Jay luvuno has worked with artists such as Dr Bone, Tourus, Slay Queen, Black Major, Mega Zee, DBR, Blaq Major, Kingsize and many more.
He began his recording career working with Nkocy Gasa who is famously Known for Dr Bone's Lindelani album and the hit single ‘Fak'umoya’, released under Warner Music.
Jay Luvuno currently occupies the senior sole as A&R, songwriter, executive producer and vocal producer for the record label Star Born Entertainment and Studios.
