Lafrik

Lafrik is an exciting music group that is quickly making waves in the industry. Ali Suleiman and Brandon Otieno met at a music camp at Sauti Academy when they were both in their teens. They shared passion for creating fresh and original sounds inspired by a mix of Rhumba and AfroPop. Lafrik is known for their infectious beats, soulful melodies, and electrifying live performances.

Their debut album, "Love Freaks," showcases the group's diverse range of influences and musical styles, Afropop, reggae-tone, soulful ballads. With catchy hooks, tight harmonies, and a sound that's both modern and timeless, Lafrik has something for everyone. They sing in Swahili, Luhya and other Kenyan languages and are inspired by traditional rhythms and sounds.

In the past few years, Lafrik have been hired as song writers/composers by numerous Kenyan musicians such as Cedo and Nameless. They have written hits such as Te-Amo (Nameless and Wahu), For your Heart with H_art the Band among many more songs.
