Luyando Muleya
Bio
Luyando Muleya is a young arts and heritage professional based in Lusaka, Zambia.
Muleya completed the first year of Business Administration studies at Cavendish University, Lusaka from 2019 to 2020. He founded Sibuku's Artistry in 2020, a Zambian organisation dedicated to promoting arts, culture and heritage. As Creative Director, he has organised museum tours at the Lusaka National Museum, poetry events in partnership with Color Culture, and assisted with the launch of the Lusaka Contemporary Arts Center in December 2022.
In June-July 2023, Muleya worked as a gallery assistant for the Fractures, Trajectories exhibition at the Alliance Française de Lusaka.
Muleya's interests lie in fostering greater access to and appreciation of Zambia's rich cultural heritage through education and exhibitions.
