Macache Djz
Bio
Macache Djz comprise twin brothers Milton and Quilton Macache, who were born on 17 October 2002 in Chókwé Gaza, in the south of Mozambique.
Their interest in music started as early as 13. they are known for songs like ‘Sk'ndindiga’ and ‘Wa Deva’ featuring Bibas, ‘Choose Your Azar Remix’ alongside Mozambican hip hop artist Hernani Da Silva and his Amapiano is the Future.
The duo, since their debut, has performed at major music events such as Summer Life Festival, Organizaçao Unica Festival and Lazo Life Style Festival, and shared the stage with international and local industry artists such as Bander, Hernâni da Silva, Zing Master, Da Box and others.
They have appeared on several TV and radio programmes in Mozambique and at various festivals in South Africa. On 8 February 2021, they released their debut video titled ‘Sk'Ndindiga’ featuring collaborations with local musicians such as Kk Angel and Ana Flores. The duo has also received recognition and award nominations for their songs. In 2021, they were named Best Amapiano Makers at the South African Dance Music Awards.
