Mako Nikoswa

Mako Nikoswa (real name Joseph Makombe) is a musician from Kigali, Rwanda. He was born on 24 November 1974. He sings RnB and Afro-beat music. His journey as an artist began in 2004 when he released his single ‘Ninde’. The song was recorded in Uganda. This was followed by a collaboration titled ‘Maliya Roza’. The song featured Ugandan comedian Godfrey Seguys.

In 2006, he released his first album titled ‘Agaseko’. The music project featured songs such as ‘Agaseko’, ‘Nkunda Kuragira’, ‘Bonane’, ‘Yaya’, ‘Umutima Waraye’, ‘Umpondagura’, Yavutse’ and many others. To date, he has released over four albums.
