Marce Underwood

Marcè (pronounced mar-say) is an exceptional, Cape Town-based ,multi-talented individual who has over 15 years of experience in multidisciplinary industries and networks. She has performed alongside highly-respected local artists such as Lira, MiCasa, Kyle Shepherd and Buddy Wells, while also gaining recognition as a 2-time finalist at the prestigious Open Mic Jazz Competition at Grand West Casino and Idols South Africa too. Known for her dynamic live appearances, Marcè loves to express herself on stage and has performed all over South Africa, The Netherlands, and Wales.

Marce’s achievements include the following;
• Having a poem published in the South Africa Anthology of Poetry at the age of 10years old
• Joined the South Africa Youth Choir on a full academic scholarship for my secondary schooling and traveling to over 6 international countries
• Performing alongside highly-respected local artists such as Lira, MiCasa, Kyle Shepherd, and Buddy Wells, while also gaining recognition as a 2-time finalist at the prestigious Open Mic Jazz Competition at GrandWest and participating in Idols SA for two Seasons where I reached the top 16.

Marcè has an Honours qualification in Education as well as an undergraduate diploma in Opera performance and music.
