Bio

The musician who goes by the Islamic greeting "As Salaamu alaikum" was born and raised in Sierra Leone. In 2012, while in high school, he started making Hip-hop and RnB music, but was unable to record due to the poor standards of most studios and the high cost of the good ones. In order to gain support and recognition, he began participating in competitions, including Be a Star organized by Nigerian artist Flavour. The panel of judges included Tunex, Dija K of Dija K production, and Artilla Man, who was a government minister at the time.

In mid-2017, the artist decided to switch to making Islamic songs, which he felt would be meaningful and serve as a form of Dawah or propagation. However, he became busy with other engagements after getting engaged and did not return to music until 2020, when he became an active member of the Sierra Leone ANASHEED BROTHERS (SLAB). In September 2021, he released his first official Nasheed called 'Alhamdullilah' and followed it up in December with 'Okay'. In March of the following year, he released a new Nasheed titled 'Mawlaana' in his local language, Krio.

The artist has performed on several stages, including the Sierra Nasheed Festival at Amphitheater FBC, the National Quranic Memorization Competition at the same venue, Bo Coronation Field, and the Sierra Leone Military Headquarters on Armed Forces Day, among others.
