Ortiz Prime

Richard Kwesi Boachie (born August 8th1993) is a Ghanaian rapper, singer, songwriter, who is currently based in Accra. The Cape Coast born artist spent his life away staying with various family members at a very young age which one way or the other has made him understand life from different perspectives.
Down the line, In an interview with DJ Bibini he stated "I started doing music when i met my dad, Picked it up when i moved in to stay with my step mom and my life has never been the same"
The rapper was introduced to music by his step brother Nana Yaw Boachie who often listens to rap music" among others was verses from 50cent and the way he carried himself together with his hip hop swag grew in him the desire to rap. " want to do this music thing" I was like a kid at a candy store i wanted it all"
Ortiz-prime raps in twi, fante, English and pidgin. His kind of music is related to various walks of life, He recorded his first single titled "Give it to me" with a group he joined in senior high school "IMG" He later recorded single with other upcoming rappers such as "Make another Me" with OG Bobby.

In 2016 he released a solo abum with Mapa Jay who is also an up coming artist, producer and songwriter and this album was recorded in his grandmother's crib. The album T. O. B. B "Thoughts Of a Blackboy" was inspired by his love for Storytelling rap, In an interview with Fergyie on radio premiere 100.0, Prime stated, his love for Kendrick lamar and said poetry is rap without melodies and Kendrick lamar is my biggest inspiration apart from 50cent"
Ortiz Prime is currently signed to Creative Oasis Media where he has currently released an ep "BIRTHOFBLUE EP" which has no features, he switched to sing more on this project than the rap we all know him for. He proves his ability to improve every time he is given the chance. In an interview with Fergyie on radio premiere he stated "BIRTHOFBLUE EP is my growth as an upcoming artist and his plans is to enter the Ghanaian music industry with this project.
The rapper in his productions seek to work with industry mates such as kwesi authur, kofi mole, kidi, king promise and also big arts such as sarkodie, shatta wale, Stonebwoy..
Prime also shot his first video for a single on his BIRTHOFBLUE EP which shows his ability to win BET and also give rap in Ghana a new slot in the Grammy awards.
