Razakey

Abdulrazak Tausir known as Razakey Tausir, a Keyboardist/music composer, arranger & producer. Also Website/graphics Designer & Developer from Zanzibar-Tanzania.

The development of his unique style is the result of a lifetime of musical influence. Growing up in a talented musical family meant that Razakey was always surrounded by different forms of music. His father was a guitar player & reggae singer with various bands in Holland until now.

His first foray into learning an instrument himself came when he started to play the keyboard aged just 7 years old at Amana art center in Dar es Salaam but he could not continue because he had to finish his secondary education.

After finishing Secondary joined college and received his Diploma in Computer Science & Website designing/Programming at some of the college in Zanzibar like SUZA, SIT and ZANZICODE.

He started his music career in 2005 at his first Studio called Mandevu Records in Zanzibar, while he worked in music festival in Zanzibar like ZIFF, Sauti za Busara & Jahazi Literary and Jazz Festival. In 2009 he joined DCMA to continue and develop his musical talent and decided to study Keyboard.

Currently Razakey started his own entertainment & news blog in Zanzibar while his working in some music studios and produced many hits songs in Tanzania like KITUMBUA by AT and performed live music with different National & International Artist like Akua Naru (USA), Rellionare JReam (USA), Kassima Mganga (TZ), Barnaba (TZ), Linah (TZ), Rico Single (TZ), COCO & the Bush Pilot (TZ), Lady Flavia (IT) and more.
