Reverend Todd Seely

Bio

Reverend Todd Seely is an American musician based in Kitwe, Zambia. He grew up in a family of musicians in New Hampshire. It didn’t take long for him to realize what his calling was. Self-taught on the guitar at the age of seventeen, Todd has branched his musical talents into many genres showcasing his natural abilities in bluegrass, gospel, rock and roll, punk, folk, and acoustic coffee house style music.

In his twenties, he was able to tour with the seminal punk band the Bruisers on two European tours where he played lead guitar. After several years playing in punk and rock and roll bands, he decided to branch out on his own and explore his abilities as a solo artist. His travels across the U.S. as an adult have brought a soulful honest tune to his music and have improved his song writing abilities. He has played for audiences throughout the U.S. as well as Europe, Central America and Africa. He currently lives in Zambia, where he has performed to enthusiastic audiences country-wide as well as on live national television.

His writing centers on lost love, heartache and life’s journey as he figures it out. His carefully crafted lyrics and verses capture the audience and leave them wanting more of a glimpse into this passionate artist’s world.

He has to date released three albums namely ‘Wages of Sin’, ‘Fourth Street’ and ‘Transatlantic’.

Some of his popular songs include: Drunk Town ‘Slow Burn’, ‘Transatlantic’, ‘The Mountain’, ‘Like A Dog’, ‘A Year Ago Tomorrow’, ‘Liquor & Cigarettes’, ‘Nothing’ and ‘King of Nothing’.
