Rodrick "Rich Rod" Mavundla

Bio

Rodrick Mavundla, artistically known as Rich Rod is the founder and director of Black Salt Creative Company, a Talent and Events management company operating in Kimberley and Johannesburg, South Africa.

As an artist manager, he has represented talented individuals who have made appearances on TV. Currently, he is managing a hip hop duo called IconiKidZ, who recently released their debut EP and have a music video featured on Channel O. They were also nominated for Best Duo & Best Music Video at the 2020/2021 Northern Cape Hip Hop Awards.

Alpha (2018-2019): He had his first debut music video on Channel O and was selected for The KZN Music Imbizo Listening session in August 2019 in Durban.

Supreme Team 3.0: This trio dance crew and social media sensations caught the attention of the South African school shoes brand Toughees and were featured in a Coca Cola "Ama2000" advert in 2019/2020.

Throughout the past five years (2017-2022), his company has successfully organized over 10 events, including three annual events that are currently running into their third year:

Additionally, he is involved in The After Curfew Podcast, a show covering entertainment news, music, and the show business. The podcast features creatives, music industry experts, thought leaders, and practitioners in the arts & entertainment industry.
