RTV Academy Uganda

The Radio and TV Academy is a not for profit company that was incorporated in Uganda in 2010 but having its origin in the United Kingdom

The Academy is dedicated to the encouragement, recognition and promotion of excellence in Uganda broadcasting and audio broadcasting.

They are committed to extending education and understanding of the medium among policy makers, opinion formers, business community, listeners and those who aspire to, or work in Radio and Television.

They aim to achieve this through panels, keynote speeches, seminars, networking events and their quarterly newsletter.

Their mission is to organize the Radio and Television personalities' awards in Uganda and to honour the contribution of personalities and companies in the development of the Radio and Television industry in Uganda

They are credited with organizing the first recognition Awards for Radio and Television personalities.
