Shaun LHVN

In todays music industry, when you think rap music it's hard not to think about how overly saturated it's become which is why South African, alternative rap artist Shaun LHVN (formally known as Tebogo Shaun Lekgoathi ) is nothing short of a breath of fresh air. Born on the 24th of October 1992, Johannesburg rapper Shaun LHVN offers a captivating sound, intrecate lyricism, storytelling, attention to detail on musicality and production creating a timeless sound and an extraordinary listening experience. An absolute pleasure to watch live on stage as he embodies a sense of valour and vulnerability in how he performs and interacts with the audience, keeping them excited and on the tips of their toes to embrace his non-conventional take on life, love, the world and his personal journey as a musician.

Shaun LHVN was raised in Diepkloof, Soweto and moved around the city of Johannesburg til he and his family settled in Roodepoort, Reefhaven where he started his music career November of 2011 under the allias Shaun Yungen, a member of Apex Music. The group had their first single "Trick or Treat" premier on Channel O and Y.fm during the year 2012. They later started making live music under the group name The Apex Experience and won the Roodepoort Live Music Competition in 2016, it wasn't until 2018 that Shaun started his career as a solo artist. Since going solo he has released 4 singles, Gaz'lam, Arcades, Mufasa and Still Here (R.I.P Tiisetso) Some of his unreleased material appears on South African short film "Lucky"
