Swazi Observer Group of Newspapers

The Swazi Observer Group of Newspapers is a media stable in Swaziland consisting of three publications namely the daily publications (published Monday through Friday) and the weekend editions the Observer on Saturday and the Sunday Observer.

Established in 1981, the Swazi Observer is known widely as a state owned newspaper. The daily publications consist of an entertainment segment that carries the latest news on international music artists and industry trends. The weekend newspapers have themed inserts called ‘Lifestyle & Entertainment’ for the Saturday edition and ‘Scene’ for the Sunday publication-Sunday Observer.

The Swazi Observer e-edition enables readers all over the world to read the newspaper from cover to cover just as one would in print. Entertainment is regarded as the most important component and therefore, the heartbeat of all its publications hence special precedence is given to the section.
