Tamimu

Tamimu is a young, talented, and energetic musician from Tanzania who flutters the flag of Singeli music in Tanzania. He was born on April 25th, 1995, in Bagamoyo (a coastal town area that lies 75 kilometers (47 miles) north of Dar-es-Salaam on the coast of the Indian Ocean) and named Tamimu Mshauri Salum.

His first song was released in 2019 and was named ‘’sifa ya mwanamke'', and it was all over the media and a success to penetrate all of the streets of Dar es Salaam and other Tanzanian regions, which allowed him to have a huge number of fans.

And that helps him have collaborations with major artists such as Ben Paul and have him in his songs called "tilalila'' which were released in 2019. Other songs that were released during that year included "mjini mipango", sanamu la michelini and follewed with ''utanichuna'' in 2020, and in 2021 a major bongo fleva siperstar Ben Paul decided to feature Tamimu in his song called "hiyo ndio mbaya'', and other songs includes "sanamu la michelini" feat Mzee wa bwax , and the one he collaborated with. Dulla Makabila called "nitoke Vip" .

In 2022, Tamimu released major hits that went viral outside of Tanzania, including the one featuring singeli superstar Meja Kunta called "mume wa mtu", ‘’Nahaso’’, "unanidai" and the one he featured bongo fleva singer Kayumba named ''mtoto wa mtu nampenda'', and ’’sina stress”.

​In 2023, Tamimu released a collection of tracks that included the one he collaborates with bongo fleva singer and actress Giggy Money a song called "Penzi jipya", "nimejipata" and his newest track called "nimekuona wewe"
