Tasko MuWho is Tasko Music?
Tasko Music is a rapper, radio presenter and content creator from Port
Elizabeth. He grew up in Kwa Zakhele, one of the oldest townships in PE.

Career Highlights
As a rapper, he creates feel-good music that is trap influenced with a soulful
vibe. His music is a combination of basic hip hop elements of wordplay and
punchlines, with a unique beat selection that’s influenced by traditional African
instruments.
As an ordinary guy who grew up in the hood, his music is largely influenced by
the life around him: The kasi lingo, the lifestyle, the culture and a deep
connection to his traditional Xhosa roots.
As of April 2020, Tasko Music will be celebrating his first anniversary as a radio
presenter on Bay FM 107.9. A community radio station based in Port Elizabeth.
He co-host's and produces a weekly hip hop show at the station, which
focuses on giving a platform to local Eastern Cape Hip Hop.
041 Podcast is a collaborative project that Tasko Music is a part of. It is a
YouTube web series that profiles Eastern Cape creatives and the whereabouts
of their careers.
