Tony Mactony

Antony makatu, whose stage name (mactony) a musician,actor and radio presenter well known as (Tony Mactony) ,born in Limpopo Makwarela township inside Thohoyandou and grew up in Thohoyandou at Vhembe District.

The inspiration behind music was the likes of Hhp.dj fresh.DJ cleo and Lil Wayne International. He used to work with a lot of local/International artists in South Africa,Currently he is working at la fame Records with confort Muthar,soul dreamer and Ubber blvck and he featured celebrity Kwesta on his single Big dreams during the pandemic year 2020.

2017 he worn best newcomer award from “AFrican Dzonga Music Award 17”
He used to perform his music sharing the stage with the likes of Mizo Phyll, makhadzi, Colbert Mukwevho, Distraction boys , Maraza,emtee,Pro Heed, Ramzeey, Prifix and Many More.

He determined to go far through music as he takes it as one of his career path though he does have love for his job of presenting and acting . He still values Music as that’s just flow with blood and soul. He is currently a presenter on commuter fm 87.6 in Pretoria Gauteng province though he worked on several radio stations around Venda and Johannesburg.

He also appeared on several Tv telonovela and stories though on some of them he doesn’t have a character “I love acting and I wanna see myself shooting with international productions” he said ,for the love of media I’m still continuing to study Radio and tv production
