Started off with modeling as a vixen, then began
recording her own singles in 2019. Released her
debut full length mixtape in 2022 titled "Love Is
Violent Everyday" as well as a follow up album in
the same year titled "Rapture" becoming the first
and only female Hip-Hop artist to release 2 full
length projects in one calendar year. She has
performed at multiple festivals across the country
and multiple other Hip-Hop based events. She was
inspired to pursue music by the lack of
representation in Zimbabwe for younger women
doing music. Listening to Joyner Lucas, Eminem
and Coi Leray had a huge impact on her especially
during the pandemic when she started writing more
music. Young Gemini's goals include working with Nadia Nakai, SZA, Coi Leray and Nicki Minaj in the
future. In 2023 she was the second Most Booked
Female Artist in Zimbabwe, the Most Tiktoked
Zimbabwean Female Hip-Hop Artist in Zimbabwe
and also the most streamed female Hip-Hop Artist
in Zimbabwe. She made history in the same year by
becoming the first and only female artist in
Zimbabwe to headline at 3 Festivals in one week
and has recently retained her crown as the Best
Female Hip-Hop Artist at The Zimbabwe Hip-Hop
Awards. She has been Playlisted by Spotify and
has been a recent feature on BBC Radio 1 Xtra
with DJ Edu.
