Hugo Lambrechts Music Centre

The Hugo Lambrechts Music Centre was inaugurated in 1986 to provide training in all symphonic instruments (ie strings, woodwind, brass and percussion) for pupils at schools in the Western Cape. It is located in the oldest school building in the Northern suburbs, where the Victorian atmosphere and graceful courtyards enhance the music making which takes place here daily. At this unique Music Centre, young musicians receive professional training. The centre has therefore become a valuable source of instrumentalists and soloists for the South Africa music industry.
