Dominant 1 is a musician and producer from Malawi.
His interest in music making began at a younger age. He draws his influence from artists such as Pete Rock, Dj Premier and the late J. Dilla. He began producing music when he was 18 years old. He is known for a song called ‘Picasflow’. He has produced for artists such as 3rd Eye, Phi Ella, Manyanda, Qodesh Brown, Biriwiri and others. He has worked with musicians such as Skire, Marvel and others.
Dominant 1 has worked with organizations such as British Council, Goethe- institute and Raising Malawi.
