Babes Wodumo

Bongekile Simelane, better known by her stage name Babes Wodumo, (the famous Babes) is a South African model, dancer and Kwaito artiste signed to Mampintsha’s West Ink label. She shot to fame with her song 'Wololo' which features Big Nuz’s Mampintsha. As of 2016, the song became the fourth most played local song on South African radio. Bongekile started the West Ink Dance Academy that gets kids off the streets and onto the stage with her. Her song saw her getting nominated at the 2016 MAMAs which happened in Johannesburg, South Africa. She also performed at the event, together with some of the top African artists and US rapper Future.
