Michael Sterling
Bio
Michael Sterling is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from the US. A Miami native, his musical career started before his teens.
He played bass for popular Latino recording artist Ray Fernandez before branching out with two childhood friends to forme Silver Platinum. Sterling also played the lead guitar, sang and recorded as a member of the Grammy Award-winning reggae band Inner Circle. Their hit 'Bad Boys is the soundtrack for the Bad Boys film franchise that stars Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. The record is also the theme song for the award-winning television show COPS.
At Luke Records, he engineered and or produced hits for artists including 2 Live Crew, MC Shy D and JT Money, among others. He also served as the musical director for Arista artist Blu Cantrell.
