RNSU

Born Sebetli Frans Tshelane, RNSU (pronounced Ransu) is a South African rapper/songwriter and presenter based in Johannesburg. RNSU was raised in the town of Lephalale, a fresh talent with a distinct, punchy and energetic flow. He is currently signed under Jawelane, an independent South African record label.

RNSU started writing music while studying at the Vaal University of Technology in 2015, Unofficially releasing a single on soundcloud title 'Shots'. As a way to express himself, he was driven by passion as he quotes “No guts, No story” RNSU’s rap journey took off in 2020 with the release of his first studio single “New King” on all digital platforms featuring Rethabile, produced by Thabiso “Thaso” Thasman.

The single was well received which saw the artist engage with multiple national/community Television & Radio stations. RNSU is set to follow up the release of his single with a solo EP album in 2021, composed and produced by Thaso, contributors of the album include The Soweto Gospel Choir, Malik, Tuks Senganga, The Late HHP and Conley Supreme.
