Thabie Ngethe

Thabile Beauty Nsele AKA (Thabie Ngethe). Born 25 June 1989 at Empangeni living currently residing at Richardsbay KwaZulu Natal.

Thabie is a Afro Soul & Jazz artist she also do various genres like Gospel, African traditional music Afro House/dance singer, composer, song-writer & perfomer

Drawing on various South African styles such as Mbaqanga, Maskanda, Marabi and traditional Zulu, fused with contemporary elements from jazz, funk, rock, gospel, rap, opera, reggae and West African music, she produces a fresh and exciting sounds.

Her infectious music and singing style have a universal appeal and her lyrics carry powerful and poignant messages. And her care-free way of performance includes performing bare-foot and representing African culture.

Her music is influenced by legendary musicians such as Busi Mhlongo, Letta Mbuli, Miriam Makeba and Yvonne Chaka Chaka & more.

In her thriving career,

She started singing at very young age as a teenager doing singalongs the love grew stronger in high school later on she went to audition for Idols SA in 2017, and she went viral on performance she did on her sisters wedding in 2019 where she got the attention of Wandile Method a Saxophonist, Producer, Artist Manager and founder of Wandile Method Publishing, Thabie began recording her first singles at Kuwe Records JHB in 2020 and her first single release was in 2021 when she released Sekwanele, Nguye Lo & Ngihawukele.

In 2021 she released a Gospel single track and music video Umkhuleko featuring a German born multi instrumentalist Ruben Thomas and in 2022 she has released another single with a Zimbabwean Producer Meizak Music as part of cultural exchange she sings in isiZulu and isiShona.

Thabie Ngethe has been performing at various festivals giving music lovers a taste of diverse African sounds she has worked and shared a stage with Mbuso Khoza, Madala Kunene, Nomalanga Hlubi, Wandile Method and many more in the music industry.

She has signed publishing deal with Wandile Method Publishing & co-publishing deal with Sheer Publishing and open to working with different people in the entertainment industry.

She does live performances and song writing her music is available on all digital platforms.
