Bio
Gabriel Espi is a songwriter, performer and producer from South Africa.
The musician loves finding music in every little corner of life and working with unusual grooves and intimate themes. His style takes as much inspiration from Brazilian music’s style of singing and playing guitar as from jazz’s harmony and hip hop’s rhythm and feel.
After years of performing across Cape Town and Johannesburg, 2021 saw Gabriel make the step of releasing his debut 'Intimations' EP. Since then he has been performing with a live band of talented young jazz musicians and developing material for his upcoming sophomore release.
