Bkay and Kazz

Seiraj ‘Bkay’ Khan and Farhaan ‘Kazz’ Khan were born in Malawi and grew up in Masvingo, Zimbabwe. Kazz was born on September, 26, 1984. There are sons of a half-Pakistan and half African father. Their mother is half Malay and half Gowanese. They grew up with inspirations from many cultures. Their music is a mixture of soul, reggae, RnB and dancehall.

The twosome rose to fame when the released the single ‘Ndikati Hello’ of the album 'In the Beginning'. The song featured on ZBC TV in Zimbabwe and played on South Africa’s Channel O. In 2007, they won the national talent show called Live & Unsigned in the UK. This was followed by the release of their single ‘You Know It’s Right’. In 2009, they launched a second album ‘Boomslang’ and singles ‘7 Wonders’, ‘Amina Kadeya’ and ‘Wynd With Me’.

The duo own company which does music production, sound engineering, video production and marketing company. The company also aims to nature talented singers and dancers towards their goals. In 2010, Bkay & Kazz were part of a prime time television show called Model WG. The show was responsible for the making of Carlprit’s new single ‘See You At The Top’. In 2012, the group was nominated three times at the Zimbabwe Music and Arts Awards UK. In 2015, Kazz collaborated on a single called ‘Shaking Through the Night’ with Zimbabwe’s adopted rave music queen Rozalla Miller.
