Frans CEO

Frans CEO was born Frans Umgcabo Ngobese in Kwa-Thema Springs. After losing his mother at the age of 12 he relocated to New Castle to stay with his grandmother. He attended high school at Osizweni high in KZN.

Frans grew up listening to Michael Jackson, Lil Wayne and Tupac Shakur. According to Frans these three inspired him. For him Michael was his greatest entertainer, Tupac delivered the best message ever through the music and Lil was very popular with his crowds.
At the age of twelve is when frans discovered the artist in himself. Having lost his mother at such tender age, he needed a solace and he found refuge in the music. Frans was not only rapping and singing but he was also writing lyrics and learning to produce. From the time of his grandmother and grandfather the family was a member of Zion church. His mother was a Sangoma. Frans grew up very familiar with beating of drums, singing and dancing to rhythms.
At age 13, rapping in the street corners with friends, Frans was discovered by Bheki who stayed in the neighboured. Bheki had a studio set up in his place that he could not operate and he allowed Frans to use it, teaching himself to create beats and produce. That’s where the story began. His peers started hanging around Frans so they could also produce their demos. This led to Bheki assisting Frans to make his own set up so he can do his own thing in his own place. With time Frans started getting opportunities to perform his music live for the people.
Frans CEO has worked with the following artists: Big Zulu, Shwi nomtekhala, Fifi Cooper, Abafana bakaMgqumeni, Ntosh Gazi and others. Frans did beats and produced the projects he did with these artists. Frans has also shared a stage with artists like Tira, Sjava, Kelly Khumalo, AKA, Capser Nyovest, Nathi and many others.
After years of pushing himself as a brand independently, he was doing quite well on social media. He got introduced by a friend a gentleman worked for Zero One One at the time and he brought Frans CEO home. He got signed in 2020. He dropped an EP AMAVIKI with his new label ALSO IN 2020. In 2021 Frans CEO is back with a new single NEVER LOVE AGAIN.
