Amwenya

Jackline Amwenya Nehondo, best known as Amwenya is an artist from Nairobi, Kenya. She began singing in primary school when she was 12 years old. Her passion for music grew and this saw her becoming a member of a church choir and participating at a number of highschool and university music festivals.
Amwenya is a singer and songwriter whose unveiling was at the Safaricom Michael Joseph center where she hosted her show dubbed ''HERITAGE'' which was a celebration of the evolution of Kenyan music. Her show featured artists like Serro and Daniel Osanya and left the attendees asking for a sequel.
