ASANDISWA GEORGE

Asah  is a young vocalist  born in Mdantsane, who makes music that is influenced by the Xhosa folk/Bow music. She writes mainly about love , the livelihoods of South Africans as well as socio-economic issues that affect all South Africans   As a whole . This artist identifies as an Afrosoul/Jazz artist . She has worked with the likes of iPhupho lika Biko , Jazz Umncimbi , BLK ThOught Music , Sakhile Simani , Neahtyah, Soweto String Quartet and many more upcoming artists .  

She  has a natural talent & is musically Inclined , multilingual and very versatile. She has performed on various stages including Wits theatre ,The Orbit , Jozi Book fair and Unisa Jazz Festival  , Umthiza Arts Festival and most recently performed at The National Arts Festival in Makhanda .
