Atswei Franaalo
Bio
Atswei Franaalo also known as Francisca Naa Atswei Lomo is an Afro-fusion musician who grew up in La, an eccentric town in the capital city of Ghana. She studied Visual Art at Ada senior High School and went to the University of Education to study music majoring in African Dance and drumming, she has a lot of interest in African music, culture and heritage. She grew up with people of various ethnicities with a wide range of musical taste and preferences so she loves to experiment with different sounds.
She recorded her first official song in 2014 at New Rich studios in Tema Newtown and hosted her first Live Concert themed “Unplugged with Atswei Franaalo and Friends” in 2017.
Atswei Franaalo made her debut appearance in a web series titled “Tales from the Blue Bus”, an African European web series developed and produced by DFFB, the National Film and television Institute (Ghana) and the Mashai Film Lab (Uganda).
She organized a concert in 2022 themed (Black Tradition Concert) to celebrate her long garnered fan base in Ada which was proudly sponsored by; Culture Forward, Aqua Safari, Kanea Collection, 1402 pub & grill and Tetebo Production.
Her popular compilations of songs are titled Heart thinks E.P, Black tradition tape1, Wala E.P and her singles are mind blowing.
