Blasto, Malawi's premier Reggae and Dancehall entertainer. Born Otis Chilamba, Blasto is a vibrant outspoken entertainer.
Blasto's passion for music has been brewing from a tender age, growing up Listening to great Reggae and Dancehall Icons like Jimmy Cliff, Garnet Silk, Buju Banton, Beenieman and many more whose messages have reached millions of people globally bringing with it a spirit that Blasto connected with like he connects with his own people in Malawi. Blasto is able to portray his own unique style using words like "IMVA" which are relatable to his people and turning them into slang and cliche for his lyrical content.

Blasto has over the years shared stage with so many of the world's super stars within Malawi and overseas, notable artist who have shared stage with this reggae sensation include, Busy Signal,2 Face Idibia, Fantan Mojah, Sean Kingston, Morgan Heritage, Freeway Philly and many more.

Since Blasto"s first overseas tour in 2o15 on the USA' east coast, He has played in other African countries like South Africa and recently appeared at the Zanzibar Reggae festival in Zanzibar with his band. Best known for his electrifying performances ,Blasto is a must watch act at any event.
