Bolingo Paccy, born Rukundo Patient on November 4, 2001, in Rubavu, Mahoko, Rwanda, is a versatile artist renowned for his soulful, folksy sound. With a repertoire spanninTVg world music, jazz, Afro jazz, Afro soul, and modern Gakondo, Paccy has established himself as a singer, songwriter, arranger, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. His musical journey began under the guidance of his father, Nkundibiza Charles, who introduced him to solfege and piano at the tender age of four. Growing up in Mahoko village, Paccy immersed himself in music, serving as a singer, traditional drummer, and songwriter in his local church. His formal music education culminated in a diploma in Professional Musician from Nyundo Music School, now known as Rwanda School of Creative Arts and Music (RSAM). Paccy's debut album, "Umucancuro," released in 2022, showcases his talent and creativity, blending personal narratives with traditional themes and contemporary influences. As the leader of his band UMURIRI, Paccy continues to captivate audiences with his emotive performances and innovative compositions.
