Bouqui

Real name- Bukola Afolayan, is a Rapper/Singer/Song-writer. Born at Ife, Nigeria, she started out her musical career as part of an all-female Gospel group, whilst a student of the University of Ife in the 1990's.

She branched out on a solo career in 1999 and got her break-through in 2005, with the album - "BOUQUI" with hits like "Vanity", "Molejo" and "Get it started". This album is described by some as the Nigeria's first female Rap album, achieving chart success in the United Kingdom.

She has released a follow-up album to her successful debut and continues to tour internationally- especially in Europe to large audiences. Her single "Celebrate" was rated amongst the top 30 albums of the year 2013.
