Camron Andrews
Bio
South African musician & project manager, Camron Andrews, received his Bachelors of music from The University of The Witwatersrand & specialised in jazz saxophone performance. Camron joined NewMusicSA in 2020 as part of the project management & fundraising team. Camron’s 15 years as a freelancer have seen him working in many different settings: as a saxophonist in jazz, classical, & popular music; as a radio compiler/assistant music manager; as music instrument imports & distribution manager; as part of a tour management team he worked in the world’s best concert halls, such as the Berliner Philharmonie & Concertgebouwe Amsterdam; & as a doubler (saxophone, flute, & clarinet), he has performed in a range of productions like the international tours of Chicago The Musical, Priscilla, & Jersey Boys, & local productions like Sister Act & Rocky Horror. Camron won the Arts & Culture Trust’s ImpACT Award for Music in 2013.
