Capricorn FM

Capricorn FM which takes its name from the latitudinal line that cuts across Limpopo opened its doors on the 26 November 2007. It is the only commercial radio station in Limpopo and broadcast 24 hours a day.

The language make-up of Capricorn FM is 70% English and 30% local languages (Sepedi, Tshivenda and Tsonga) as per its licence conditions. Capricorn FM is a 100% black owned and the majority of owners all hail from Limpopo.

Capricorn FM broadcasts on 96.0 FM in Mokopane/Polokwane, 98.0 FM in Hoedspruit, 105.4 FM in Louis Trichardt, 89.9 FM in Sibasa, 97.6 FM in Tzaneen, 91.7 in Pretoria and Joburg, DStv audio channel 184 and is available internationally by streaming audio over the Internet.
