Caravan Records

Caravan Records is a grassroots label with a global network, specializing in contemporary African music, with a focus on distribution, management and events. It was established by Mzungu Kichaa in 2009, a practicing musician and ethomusicologist.

The idea of a mobile studio started while traveling in a caravan. Simplicity is key, especially when working with artistic expression; 'less is more'. Caravan Records represents a nomadic spirit that reflects cultures in transition and new innovation.
