Cee Jay

Born Hassan Daramy, Cee Jay started his career as part of an underground RnB/hip-hop group known as Word-up Society in 1997. He went on to become part of The Paradise Family in 1999, then Conscious Knowledge which consisted of fellow artists K-Man and Harold Bone.

He started his solo career in 2004 with Studio J Music with the release of Nor Pwell Me Way which featured songs like 'Care 4 you', 'Take You Place'. He followed the success of this with his second album titled ‘Wan Day Me Tem Go Kam’.

He became the Chairman of the Artists for Peace movement during the 2007 elections in Sierra Leone, using his music as a weapon against violence in the country.

His third album, Me Tem Don Cam, was released under S K P, and has ten tracks including songs like 'Scatter Ur Body', and 'Control Number'. The album also features Nigerian artists, Azadus, X Project, Puffy Tee and others.
