Da Block Entertainment Studio

Da Block Entertainment Studio is an independent recording studio in The Gambia that was formed in 2003. It was founded by veteran hip-hop artist Mo Hawk, popularly known as Rap Khalifa. The recording works with young talented artists thus giving them an opportunity to enter the Gambian music scene. It also allows established artists to use modern recording facilities in order to release their latest albums or singles. The studio is equipped with the latest digital equipment such as mixers and computerised editing machines best for recording different music genres such as hip-hop, rap, reggae, ndaga, mbalax, Afro-beats and Afro-manding. Some of the services offered include signing contracts, music composing, music arrangement, digital recording, sound adjustment, mastering and music video shootings.
