David P. Suade

David P. Suade is an independent music executive and entrepreneur. Former head of BassBox Music Group / Universal Music Group and its distribution arm BBMG, which distributed more than 700+ projects worldwide. After selling the company 2018, David took a hiatus from the industry to focus on his family.

While exploring the African continent, David noticed a ton of issues plaguing the music industry, in short creators aren’t being paid any royalties, and governments are not treating music as an actual industry. It was then he began advocating, educating, and lobbying for artist within the community.

Currently based in Africa, David P. Suade has launched the African Recording Company and APRO, African Performing Rights Organization to resolve the issues of music tracking, publishing, and royalty payouts to artist on the African continent.
