Dogodogo Centre

Dogodogo means 'the very young ones'. This Centre which has a broad range of international and Tanzanian support is based in Dar es Salaam and works to protect young children, especially street children, from abuse in their communities.

The work of Dogodogo is wide ranging from support at school, counselling, vocational training, provision of shelter, hygiene supervision.

Funds for this project have been provided by Sevenoaks School and Mrs L.D.Rope 3rd Charitable Fund and the Duke of Buccleuch. BTS is involved in the sale of books about Dogodogo, proceeds of which go to the Centre.

The centre teaches music, among other disciplines.
