EmoAfrika

EmoAfrika is an eight-piece band from South Africa, Eastrand - Katlehong, whose musical style has been characterised as any combination of Deep House, Afro - House, Amapiano, jazz, rhythm and blues, and techno. Originally a house music band formed in 2020 by musicians from other bands in the Eastrand. Band members continue playing with their other respective groups—Emoboys, L2Sounds, 251Afrika, and others. EmoAfrika is getting known for their improvised live performances.

The group is gaining recognition in less than a year of its formation and their first EP Release "Tension and Release Vol 1" in 2020 followed by a single "Summertime" also in 2020.independently distributed album and Single with over 5000 combined online streams and downloads. On their second project to be release in 2020 they have worked with other Local musicians such as MFR Souls, Macsou, Thuso Maxito (Golden ticket winner idols 2019) and 2 members from Children of the Sun, as well as a Lady producer originally from Mpumalanga known as Shaz Deep.
