Bio

Empress Nyiringango is an international and Rwandan singer-songwriter, showcasing the self-coined "Jablur" sound, which stands for Jazz, Blues, and Rwandan traditional music. This distinctive fusion features Rwanda's oldest instrument called Inanga (zither) and contemporary music sounds. Singing in her mother tongue Kinyarwanda, Swahili, French, and English, Empress released her second album, "Ubuntu" on October 28th, 2023.
