Evelyn Hone College Of Applied Arts and Commerce

Evelyn Hone College of applied Arts and Commerce is the largest College in Zambia. It is located in Zambia’s capital city, Lusaka, along Church Road. It offers academic and professional training in various disciplines such as Business and Management, Information Technology and Communication, Health Sciences, laboratory Sciences, Art and Music, Communication Skills and Library Studies, Journalism and Printing, office management. We are a total package. Its courses are available to school leavers, workers and companies or government institutions who may want to train their employees.

The institution has come a long way since its establishment in 1963 and it boasts of a large number of former students who are today in gainful employment in various sectors of the economy. It was named after Sir Evelyn Dennison Hone (1911-1979), the last Governor of Northern Rhodesia (now Zambia). It is the largest College and third largest public institution of learning in Zambia.

The vision of the college is to be an institution of preferred choice for training in Applied Arts, Commerce, Science and Technology. Its mission is to provide quality training in Applied Arts, Commerce, Science and Technology to local and international students in order to fulfill requirements of the labour market.
