FYJ, born Joyness Damian Lyimo, is a dynamic Tanzanian musician and songwriter who began on his musical journey in the harmonies of the church choir, fostering a deep love for music from a young age and officially in 2017. This love evolved into a distinctive musical style that reflects both passion and an unwavering commitment to artistic independence.
Determined to expand his skills, FYJ has actively sought diverse learning opportunities. He's attended workshops led by industry experts, exploring subjects from product management to practical music skills, showcasing his dedication to honing his craft. Inspired by global perspectives, FYJ engaged in thought-provoking talks, including those by DJ Illvibe and Anthony Huseyin in Berlin, Germany.
