Gary Nwobu

Gary Nwobu studied Music at the University of Nigeria Nsukka, graduating in 1991 with a Bachelor of Arts. He began a career as a session drummer, settling in Lagos in 1995. Gary later studied Studio Engineering, working in a number of studio's around Lagos, including Klink Studio's, VIF Studio's, Harry Mosco Studios, before setting his independent studio Gary Studios in 2008.

He has worked with some of Nigeria's greatest musicians like Onyeka Onwenu, Osayomore Joseph, Christy Essien-Igbokwe, Oly Gee etc His work with the latter as a Producer and Engineer, was said to have launched the Naijabeat revolution. He currently works as both an Audio and Visual Engineer and Producer.
