Local Rooihuiskraal blue billy folk band Georgetown, joins forces with a newly formed brass section from Newtown called The Moonies
Georgetown, which already uses a vast array of authentic folk music-driven melodies and instruments is very well complemented by this brass addition. Together as Georgetown & The Moonies, they create a captivating sound that transports listeners to a Dixieland style band mixed with local flavours, beautifully orchestrated by Tebogo Mokoena who is the band-leader and saxophonist for The Moonies.
