Hector Dee is a South African rapper whose real name is Ntsikelelo Gushana from the small town of Villiersdorp in Western Cape, South Africa, born in Tembisa in Gauteng. Hector Dee kick-started his journey as an artist in 2014 and further on, launched his own studio titled ‘H.Dee Records’ in 2019, which led him to officially release his debut mixtape titled ‘Better Days are coming’. Hector Dee has been on forefront with putting himself to strive as an artist that wishes to add value to one’s craft as he has managed to do so through his creative space. Hector Dee, officially, houses 1 project titled ‘Better Dayz are coming’ and, unofficially, he houses 4 projects including Glory is on my way. The concepts of his mixtape has without a doubt played an important role in the shaping of his career as they burn to give a sense of direction to whoever is a biggest fan of Hector Dee’s work and delves into the matters of his career. Hector Dee houses 4 visual installations including Traphouse, Vuku Uphande, On The Zone, 100 shots. In pursuit of generating excitement and support for his journey as an artist and a producer, Hector Dee has performed in various parts of Western Cape including June 16 Youth Event, which was hosted at George in Western Cape on 16 June 2023, performed at Kay Roux Season 1 Event, which took place at Villiersdorp Rank in Villiersdorp last year.
