The Hood Brodz

The Hood Brodz is a duo of DJ/producer brothers from Maputo, the capital
from Mozambique. The group's name is a reference to the modest neighborhood where grew up, Bairro Trevo, “where hope is low and poverty is part of the everyday

every day, and the name is a motivation for all young people from different neighborhoods of the parents, this serves to make you dream, uplift, motivate, no matter what form of art you follow. Ayrton and his younger brother, Hélio, have been working together as a duo for 5 years, releasing many songs to establish their brand in the Mozambican musical panorama.The duo started in 2017, Ayrton, the oldest brother has been a DJ since 2012, and Helio has been a producer since 2014, when they were both in production and DJing started the duo, starting with releases of

national to international record labels such as South Africa's Mudipie, Akwaba
Music from France, Afro Centric from Dubai, Hot Voices from Angola and many others.

Releases

The Hood brodz's releases already include 7 Eps and 2 albums, and collaborations with
national and international artists such as Dj Supaman, Stefanea Leonel, Kaylon, Tayra,
Dona Saquia, Edvan Allan, Ivo de Jesus, Edya Yusney, Dj Gabe from Brazil, Sho Madjozi from South Africa, which is yet to be released. In 2022 they will be part of the Portuguese duo's album by DJs Studio Bros of track number 6 titled Night Sky with Tayra on vocals, which became a hit in Latin American countries such as Venezuela, Panama, Mexico and others. Still in the year 2022, they release another EP with the single World, which has become indispensable on the tracks in Portugal, being played by the acclaimed Dj Barata, Caianda and Shimza. The latest release is music alongside Swazi singer Thobile, which was released by the Bushfire Records label.
