International School of Lusaka (ISL)

The International School of Lusaka, is one of the oldest international schools on the continent of Africa, and is currently the third largest such school in the Association of International Schools in Africa. It is one of the best schools in the country that offers music lessons in its curriculum. There are over 700 students from over 60 different countries. The teaching staff consists of over 50 professional educators from 15 countries. The School is overseen by a Board of Governors, nine of whom are elected by the ISL Association. The Association is composed of the parents of the students attending ISL and the professional teaching staff. The administration of the school is directed by the Head of School, who is supported by the Deputy Head of School, the Primary Principal, the Secondary School Principal and the Finance Manager.
