Bio
Isabel Abenaitwe Twongyeirwe is a multifaceted professional, blending her legal expertise with creative passions.
As a lawyer, she focuses on how Uganda's legal policy structures can foster prosperity among creatives. Isabel holds an LLB from Ugandan Christian University, where she excelled in moot court competitions, winning first place at the 2016 EA Regional CIPIT Intellectual Property Moot Court Competition and the National CEHURD Moot Court Competition. She also represented Uganda at the 2017 International Jessup Moot Court Competition, organized by White & Case. Additionally, she possesses a Post Graduate Legal Studies diploma from the Law Development Centre.
As a creative, Isabel has made significant contributions to Uganda's music scene. Her sophomore album, "Love and Light," was released in 2022. She has collaborated on various projects, including the internationally acclaimed animation "A Kalabanda Ate my Homework." Isabel has written songs for local and international artists, such as Abaasa, Lillian Mbabazi, Maurice Kirya, James Spaite, and Savannah Walters. Her performances include notable events like Blankets and Wine and Jameson Uganda.
Currently, Isabel serves as the legal manager for a FinTech credit infrastructure provider, seamlessly integrating her legal expertise with her creative talents.
